This project revitalizes a 40-year-old double-storey terrace house for a young couple, transforming it into an open and spacious home inspired by the timeless language of Mid-Century Modern design. The design reinterprets the existing architectural framework by accentuating and refining key structural elements, turning them into defining features that shape the spatial experience.

Warm timber tones, clean lines, and carefully curated materials bring the Mid-Century Modern aesthetic to life, thoughtfully adapted to a Malaysian tropical context. Enhanced openness, natural light, and improved ventilation create a relaxed and contemporary living environment.

The result is a refreshed terrace home where classic design principles meet modern tropical living.
